Quotes and contracts
Accepting a quote can create a binding contract. Confirm the contracting party, scope, price form, VAT, start and completion dates, payment plan, variations, documentation and dispute process before acceptance.
ROT tax deduction
ROT normally concerns qualifying invoiced labour and depends on ownership, use of the home, available tax and the contractor’s F-tax status. Eligibility is individual and never guaranteed by Tryggrenov; check the current rules with Skatteverket.
Hazardous materials and dust
Before sanding or demolition, older or uncertain materials may need a competent survey for asbestos or other hazardous substances. Professional asbestos work requires the applicable permit and notification. Concrete, tile and stone dust must be controlled at source.
Moisture, mould and symptoms
Do not diagnose hidden damage from sight or smell alone. Find the moisture source and have the extent and drying assessed. If you have health symptoms, contact healthcare; severe breathing difficulty requires urgent care.
